Your Privacy Is Important

THE DATA WE COLLECT

Our website allows you to become a Momentum Center member, make donations, and obtain information about our various services. Because of this, we may ask for your name, address, phone number, and other information necessary to complete the transaction. We will ask for standard credit card information if you make a donation. All of this information is confidential and secure.

We also collect non-personal information about our online visitors using “cookies” and other technology that operates automatically when you visit our website. This information is used to give our visitors a better experience and help make website improvements. If you do not want us to collect information using cookies, you may disable this function in your browser settings.

NOTE TO PARENTS

Although the Momentum Center offers community conversations through Inspire! Events and Town Hall meetings, the majority of the information on the website is directed towards individuals 13 and older. The Momentum Center does not intentionally collect personal information from people under age 13. Parents are urged to monitor all online activity of their minor children.

OUR COMMITMENT TO PRIVACY

Momentum Center respects and values the privacy of every visitor to our website and we go to great lengths to protect it. We want you to be fully informed about which information we gather and how we use it. Please review this policy periodically, as it may be updated as necessary.

HOW WE SECURE DATA

No website can be completely secure, but we are constantly working to use up-to-date security safeguards. These safeguards include encryption, access controls, network firewalls, and physical security, all of which make it extremely difficult for anyone to gain access to the information you send us.  The information we receive is restricted to staff members who will only use it for the specific reason it was obtained (ie: membership, donation).

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

If you provide the Momentum Center with personal information, we may enter your information into our internal database so we can contact you, provide information about our programs and events, request donations, or track donations already made.

The Momentum Center will never sell, trade, or share our members’ or donors’ personal information with any other person or organization, unless a third party is helping with an activity or program. For example, your credit card information may go through a vendor that processes donations and credit card payments. Such vendors are bound by strict confidentiality rules and are only permitted to use the information to support the Momentum Center. We will also disclose information as required by law.
